"Pacing myself" build

So….. I’ll probably post pics up in my thread. Great day. Spent most of the day hiking the creek. Water was super high so I couldn’t cross. We ate lunch then continued up another 4-5 mile in the Jeep. Came around a corner and saw a dead guy in the snow in the middle of the road
His car was about 20 yards up stuck
Laura recognized the car from a Corning FB post so we came back and called it in.

Just Drove around a turn and we are looking at a little Chihuahua sitting on top of a dead body..... had to make that compute. Fed the dog but couldn't catch it so we left the car door open and food.
I think the Red Bluff Search and rescue are heading up in the am
Been missing for 2 weeks
Car smelled really bad like he sat in it for a few days
Holy crap. That's crazy!!!!

Oh my! Looking for the update. 😕

Yea Laura has been on their FB page.
I didn’t want to put it out there cause we know before the family does.
That’s the dude and the Chihuahua

I don’t know if LE has let them know cause the CPD on duty gal knew immediately who it was once I mentioned the chihuahua and vehicle and confirmed the plates.

The S&R can’t get out there till the am
I’m somewhat surprised they aren’t doing it right away before someone else or something else stumbles across the body.

It went Corning PD, got a call from Tehama county’s sheriff, didn’t know shit about the area.
Then from ( not sure what agency) Red Bluff Search and rescue. Knew the road.
It’s way up there. Ice left from the snow melt. Some down trees. 1 narrow erosion area
I wouldn’t be up there at night.
There were no tire tracks pass up where we found him. 1st ones up there in 10 days

Yikes! That's nuts! We literally saw 2 cars and a couple enduros the entire day we were on the mountain. I couldn't imagine running into that!

Yea same here. Only saw 1 car the whole day then we ran up on that.
Super strange, no tire tracks or footprints. But I think that’s cause the melt, water leaving and only ice left

So far, not impressed. The 4 squirrels are not too shabby! That cooling fan is ridiculous!
