What did you do to your TJ today?

Took it all over town this weekend pounding pavement. Soccer is over in 2 weeks and I’m can finally hit some trails! Some mall crawling photos from last night and today. Date night and soccer with my boy!
I just had to replace the center sections where the skid plate bolts to, because the bolts were gone and previous owner welded plate to frame. I’m also replacing the rear trailing arms for the control arm mounts because they were rusted through also. Thankfully the upper half of the frame was in good condition and solid enough to weld to. I had been wanting to change the transmission mount and rebuild my front driveshaft and replace the downstream oxygen sensor but to do all of those things I had to fix the frame to be able to remove / reinstall the skid. What a pain in the ass for a couple simple jobs lol
I also need to replace the back two body mount bushings and channels because they are rusted out but I’ll get to that when I have more vacation time lol the frame was more important and I’m still waiting for the bushings. 4 X $50 some odd dollars is a tough pill to swallow lol
I don’t think that’s what a transmission mount is supposed to look like.
I’ve got a slightly used mopar one with about 138k miles and 25+ years old you can have lol
A friend saw this on FB marketplace and gave me a heads up. Warn X8000i, functional with wired remote, $100! Guy is selling a 73 CJ project and parts. Apparently moving out of state.

Drove my Jeep to work on my day off to fly a C172 around for an hour or so.
Installed the hardtop hoist and then the new soft top. Pardon the messy garage.
Replaced all 4 O2 sensors. Fingers crossed

Went for a ride with friends. Road the old rail road bed for a few miles, then took one of 2 ferries operating in TN. Crossed the TN River, found several good trails... overheated like a bitch... limped home

I’ve wanted one for a while. This one is from the 70s I think. Got it up in blue ridge a month or so ago.
I’ve got a cj2a and a couple Cj3a’s I’ve got to get a pintle hitch setup on to pull it with them too. They’re projects tho. really just dirt road cruisers at best right now. Lol.
But yea man we love it. Looked into the whole roof rack/rtt thing, but this is so much better. We don’t have to break camp down every time we want to ride.
This one is too dried out , could not bring it back and I will have to paint it too. They really get a lot of sun, little satin black and will look good as new.
How does the Jeep do towing it? Do you know it’s weight?
