Hi guys

Im from Denmark, and have a Wrangler Tj 2.5 from 1998.

Its leaking, but i dont know what the name of the part, and is it easy to repair/replace?

Hope you can help me..

P.s. i think the fluid is gasoline

But I think the ones at my picture, is not looking the same when im google a fuel pressure regulator on a jeep wrangler tj 2.5L from 1998??? (there is a small difference)
 
Jerry, that illustration shows the fuel line quick connect fitting going into a damper mounted to the fuel rail in between two injectors.

The OP's pic shows a vacuum hose connected to a pressure reg. on the end of the fuel rail just like on my YJ as best as I can tell.

The question is why is the return line capped off?

So it must be acting as some sort of damper😂 seems pointless, I would change the o rings.

The question is why is the return line capped off?
This is from the 1998 FSM. The regulator is on top of the fuel pump module, just like all TJ’s. Regardless, it leaks and the seals need replaced.

Wow, have never seen that before. So they repurposed a reg, complete with vacuum hose, as a damper and capped the return line.
