What did you do to your TJ today?

New bearings and seals for the set of OEM spare Dana 44 shafts that I've been taking on trail as my spares.

Keeping my Jeep's original shafts as spares for now. Bearings have some play but they'll get me home.

Lubed JJs on Dana 30 that went in during this build but I hadn't lubed yet. Those JJs had more lube than the Currie/Savvy control arms JJs I did recently before their install too. Still worth extra care on the Dana 30 before the Jeep hits the street.

Forgot to mention a shout-out to @hosejockey61 for his GREAT videos on Youtube helping our community. I always enjoy seeing a new upload from him as a fun TJ wrenching video (whether I'm planning that upgrade/task or not). Pulled up his video on Dana 44 seals/bearings as a 'don't F%@# this up' backup as I went through the process for the first time.

I was going to buy some new aluminum wheels until I went to file my taxes today. I OWE the IRS $525. I made less than previous years and never paid them before. Thanks Brandon (aka :poop:). 🤬

Yeah. I owe an extra $2,000 so far. I make sure not to get any back at the end, but this is rediculousness.

Hey, the Ukraine needs it.

oh boy getting dangerously close to politics here. Just fyi you were all still taxed under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that Trump passed in 2017.

And I paid $434 less, calculated using both the publicly available and easy to read tax brackets, and math. (single filer)

Just wait until the Trump tax cuts expire in 2025 and the brackets actually go up 3%

Something has certainly changed. My wife and I make less than we did the past two years and we owe more this year than we ever have.
