What did you do to your TJ today?

Can I get the Bruce Jenner tax CUT? 😬

The past couple days:
My TJ, bad vibes. Disconnected the front driveshaft to narrow it down. Nope.
When I disconnected the rear driveshaft axle end, the u joint caps fell off, with needles in only one cap!! Needless to say, I found my vibe.

Son's TJ, got the rear main in, bearing block and "cradle" back in. He's dragging his feet on cleaning the oil pan mating surfaces and getting all the leaky oil crud cleaned off the outside of the pan. Progress, though

Busy day of Jeep stuff. Savvy shifter installed. Haven’t tried it yet. No instructions so I just winged it but it seems pretty straightforward and only one way to go on. Also got the hard top off and the frame for the soft top on and the soft top too. My first time putting one on but it too was pretty straightforward. This used soft top leaves some to be desired but if it makes it through the summer I’ll be happy with it.

Hey, that's cheating being able to install that Savvy Shifter kit without the floor boards. :ROFLMAO:

Finally got some time and the energy to do a few projects, scored a free soft top bow set from a local classified ad, repainted it and put on new knuckles, new bow stays. Sourced some used door surrounds for a hundred bucks, and finished it off with a new rampage top. Turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself.

Installed the "Tactik" soft top on my '01. For $170 and some change, happy with it so far. Definitely flimsier than what was on it (no idea if it was original... I had it held together with Velcro, zip ties and hopes and dreams) Wow it's nice to be able to drop it and get it back up in a couple of mins! Time will tell how it holds up. The TJ lives in the garage and is hard-topped in winter so that should help...

Yea there’s been a few times that I’ve thought about welding it in but I’m always glad that I haven’t yet lol lots of good access to front driveshaft and transfer case shifters lol

Sounds like I could use a new sub too. 😀

Well, thats suboptimal..

I'm preparing to upgrade the speakers in my 99, the fronts are completely shot, but I was really surprised when I pulled the soundbar speakers out...they look as good as the day they were installed. I would have never guessed they almost 30 yrs old. They also sound as good as any oem paper cone 5.25s I've come across. That being said, I'll hang these museum peices on the wall and put in some shiny new kickers.
