Great work!

One thing that came to mind what I first say it was that you may want to put a plate at the end of this shelf. Otherwise, you'll be swearing the day its loaded up with stuff and knock that knife/hotdog/etc in there and can't fish it out with crap on the tray...

Put up a FB marketplace ad for the Tyger steps I removed and replaced with Rockslide sliders this summer yesterday.

Spent all last night and today explaining to idiots that a TJ was the last real Jeep made from 1997 to 2006 like the ad says and no they won't just bolt on to your 2016 JK or Ford Ranger or your minivan.

Even had a guy drive two hours to meet me and showed up in a JKU...he was pretty sheepish.

Is it me or are Jeep owners getting that much more worthless? I can see the Oregon and PNW FB pages so I think I know the answer.

I'll probably weld new flanges on em and bolt them to my dump trailer. =) Or just weld them to the dump trailer...

But wheres a picture of the dog? This is my next step, doing a little camping out on my own.

In true escapism nature, I failed to charge my phone for three days so no pictures. He is still sleeping. It was cool to watch him lead us back to camp after hiking off into the woods for an hour or two. I would test him a little bit by taking a wrong turn and he would just look at me like I was an idiot.

I took the skid plate off to replace the transmission mount. I think it was time.

I’m getting ready to put the new one in and am confused about the torque. Anyone know which spec for the M10 nuts that hold this to the transmission bracket studs? The installation directions aren’t much help.

well, one zipper is on.. now just to sew on the fabric trim bead. gonna take a break for a while, back is sore but top of dog crate is at the right working height so I dont have to hunch so much. planing on trimming zipper end length once I do final fitment. still got the top portions zipper to do ugh.

unfortunately the zipper pulls are on the wrong side of the zipper slide and are not changeable. so the zipper pulls will be on the window portion rather than the top portion.

gotta say, its slow going.. but this is one hell of a cheap handy tool to have & takes up minimal space.

Changed the oil today. Unfortunately no one had any Castrol GTX high mileage in 10w-30 anywhere. Went to 4 different places and everyone was sold out of the jugs and only had quarts. So against my better judgment I figured I would try the Castrol Edge high mileage full synthetic in the same weight. Well now I have lifter tick for about 3-5 minutes until everything gets warmed up.

In the past when I used Valvoline or Penzoil high mileage blend or conventional I would occasionally get lifter get for just a few seconds on startup. I fount the the Castrol GTX was slightly thicker and eliminated that problem and have stuck with that ever since.

@AndyG @John Cooper What do you guys think, should I change it out for the tried and true GTX when I find some, or just let it go with the synthetic till the next oil change and live with the tick?
