What did you do to your TJ today?

My throw out bearing has been a little noisy for a couple of summers now and it just started sounding louder. I replaced all of it yesterday. The clutch didn’t look too worn, but the bearing was feeling tight.
Nice and quiet now.

Replaced upper radiator hose. Replaced sway bar links with JKS. Removed oem step bars.
Is a 4500 HP SMX still considered an LS?
Went to the junkyard in 104F to look for a Nissan part for my TJ. Found it - hope it works. Andy
Replaced the transmission fluid in my 3550 with Redline MTL.
IMMEDIATE improvement.
The slight 2nd to 3rd gear crunch is gone and everything shifts much smoother.
I should've done this sooner.

All you need now is a B&M shifter. You will really like how it shifts.
I Am going to do that- looking for info on 32h transmission oil pan with drain plug ?
I've looked for that several times.
Every time I get ready to buy one it goes out of stock.

I went looking again and found a used one on eBay for $220 and grabbed it.

Yea it made it to the beach. I kept stopping and checking on it. Thankfully it never got hotter than it did. Definitely going out but it wasn’t “ too hot to hold your hand on” hot. I stopped at O’Reily’s and bought a set of 4 lug hub assemblies and plan on installing them at some point this week before the trip home. $135 for two of them and hopefully they are the right size because I didn’t have a way to measure them.
Finally cleaned the sticky off my steering wheel and passenger airbag covers. Lemon scented ammonia was the trick! I'd have done this a long time ago if I'd known how easy it would be.

My air bag cover is starting to get a little bit tacky and I’ve been wondering how to go about it.
Yep. I used it straight out of the jug onto a microfiber rag. White cotton would work fine too. I went through 3 rags because they got stained black from the sticky layer that was removed.
