The last group I'd join would be one that requires matching shirts. Especially one that is all geezers (like me). :ROFLMAO:

While I don't disagree with the sentiment, at the Rubicon Jamboree which I have done a few times, that is just logistically not possible due to the length of the trail. If you spend more time in line than you do wheeling, may as well camp at the dam because you ain't gonna get to the springs.

I did the Jeep Jamboree USA Rubicon trail one in 2020, at the time they didn't allow older than TJ, and 35's. I asked why the limit and they said three things:
1. they experienced more break downs on average for older vehicles
2. it was harder and costlier for them to get parts and provide support for older (and frequently more custom) vehicles
3. Given 1 and 2 as true, and given the even sells out in less than 20 minutes, it is just good business sense to limit them.

I expect this expidition is no different, and if it sells out fast with this limit, as a business why would they want to incur more work/expense?

Our experience btw on the JJUSA Rubicon trip was excellent. We kept moving for the most part with only a few delays while they cleared a broken vehicle from the trail. The support and the spotting were on point and far above any other event we've done.

Finally, it seems this expedition event limits groups to 8 participant vehicles (likely increasing their own cost), so those complaining about this as a large group sitting in line type of event are off base a bit.

I went on Sierra trek this year. Totally recommend it. The traffic was really bad took us 11 hours to get through, but it’s fun to hang out and watch the winch hills while you’re waiting in a beautiful area. I’ll probably go again next year
It has requirements also to do Fordyce you need to have 35’s and one locker. It’s a great trail but it much harder than the Rubicon

I was on the Jeep Jamboree site and noticed Tjs are not welcome to the upcoming Moab trip in Oct. I put in an email requesting more information. I am wondering if any of you have seen this.

Edit:

This sounds like something I’d rather pay to not attend.

The only JL owner Ive actually talked to was some kid outside of my apartment with his friends who made fun of my rig for not having Dana 60s, ARBs, and beadlocks. It’s as if he was reading to me from a 4WD parts magazine.

This same kid bashed in the body of his stock Rubicon his first time out and said he hates it and only has it bc his dad couldn’t find him a Bronco.

She love you for long time.
I regularly heard 'me love you for long time' from the b-girls at the local bars when I was stationed overseas. One remembered me for some reason when I was back at the same bar months later and she put on a pouty face and angrily said 'you numbah ten-thou GI, you buttahfly me!' (buttafly meaning butterfly visiting other flowers). :ROFLMAO:

P. S. No I was not partaking of the services they were offering.
