What did you do to your TJ today?

Today I put together all of the control arms from my Savvy lift in preparation for this weekend. SSSYE going in, lift, shocks, both trackbars, etc etc. I have a brand new (<200 miles) set of wheels off a Mojave Gladiator, 17s with 33s on them. Not what I want but I challenge you to argue with free wheels and tires. Doing JKS discos for the front swaybar for the time being. Now that I think about it I wonder if I need a longer TC shift cable..... search function here I come

Swapped the junk cube lights that came in my bumper with some Rough Country flood lights. These are much better.

Installed the LED under hood light fixture to replace my OEM one that didn't work.

Swapped steering wheels with a remanufactured leather wrapped one. The leather is very nice. I swapped my cruise buttons to the new wheel since the text on them were a lot nicer.
Where did you buy the reman steering wheel? It looks really nice!

Added a Teardrop camper to the package. Took it for a test drive up some local grades and am very happy with the performance. Hopefully when I add 300 lbs of gear it stays the same. Glad I have a manual. I do see BM brakes in my future. 1k lbs with 100lbs tung wt.
Anyone added mirror extensions? Camper is the same width but extensions would be better.

Can ya elaborate on which model..standard width or fatboy? Those look a whole lot easier to get in and out of than my Corbeau’s ..some full containment suspension seats are hard on a old guy!

When I went to KOH there was a vendor with all the seats so my fatass tried them all. These are the premier high back suspension seats I went for the fixed back to have more stable feel I guess you would say. A friend of mine has the Enduro seats that recline but I like how these feel. I have to order some harnesses and I think I will get the genright quick detach steering wheel setup

Picked mine up yesterday and drove it 500 miles home. 🙃

Play nice. Don't scare another one away.

I'll try and be as polite as I can.....

Cough, cough (clears throat) Excuse me, kind sir, some of the members of this fine establishment would really appreciate a well focused 8x4 glossy pic of your new to you acquisition.....otherwise it would seem like this did not take place on said day of your post ......Thanks ever so much.

and welcome to the forum mate ;)

Replaced rear shocks. Black Max shocks developed dead spots after 2 years. Replacements weren't too expensive so we'll see where this heads. Might head to Rancho if these don't last any longer.

My fronts have a dead spot in the middle of their travel after 3 months give or take. Probably going back to my 5100's.
