It only takes 2min to remove the inner liner.
I like the tape guards to keep the black strip from below the doors when closed (I know there are versions that stay inside the door and I'm eyeing them). I've eyed 3M clear tape options but haven't pulled the trigger.
Long statement to say — I feel @Cooper Smith in knowing it needs attention and haven't picked a solution.
I put on a set of Crown black SS guards. Took off the original tape first. Stuck them on with 3M 1/2" industrial double faced tape. No screws.
They're getting scraped up a bit but doing great and they don't show with the doors closed.
Grip it and rip it!!!!!!!
That's how I removed mine. Granted I didn't plan on putting them back in.

I’m going to hire someone to weld the rear Antirock sway bar pieces to my axle but I want to prep it before contacting someone.
There isn’t much room and the brake line is in the way right now. Should I just move the line to the front of the axle? Can I just bend those lines or will they kink?

Scuffed these doors with 800-grit pad, spot touched a few places with 600. Then laid down a few coats of color. Finally, some 2K clear.
Setting these aside to cure. There's orange peel because I was uncomfortable spraying this as close and heavy as it must require. Chalk it up to first-time jitters. Guess I'll address that once they've dried.

I replaced my Metalcloak Duroflex joints with Johnny Joints. On a more positive note, the Johnny Joints cured my speed sensitive shimmy.
Developed a bad shake at idle. Cleaned the throttle body and IAS, now a nice smooth idle. Andy
