We've done a couple of sets. I will NEVER do another set even for someone I like. I literally have over 100 emails for the last set and I could not get even the most simple basic questions answered. One of the things that was very critical in the design for me was to not have the lug nut recesses cut into the center bore. Since this is for the small hub kit and we have control, I asked the owner to measure the diameter of the hub so we could get it done nicely.
I was trying avoid this.

The only answer I got after several tries was just to match his existing center bore. Given these are very custom and I have control over a lot of the design elements, I got off my ass and went and measured a hub, added a small bit for clearance and used that.
When the wheels arrived, the owner was ecstatic that the lug nut recesses didn't cut into the center bore. WTF?? Why did you think I kept hounding you for that number?
Between that and all the other BS we went through, never again.
That said, even if I were so inclined, there is no way to make any money doing it. That set of 5 in a forged alloy with 10mm screws and a spare set of rings was over 3 grand our cost. Granted, the same wheel done here would be over 7 grand, but who does that?
