It's a hitch based crane...has a 2" receiver on the end...took my hitch extension and screwed it to the floor and added that C clamp for extra hold down.

That's exactly what it looked like to me too! One of those, "It gets worse the more you look..." kind of things!
Or added the screws for extra hold down as the case may be!

What is the floor made of? Did you happen to screw it to any joists underneath the flooring lol
1 1/8" OSB. Screwed and glued to a 4" x 12" LSL with 12" wood I beam joists 16" OC reinforced with Simpson strong ties. Should have used longer screws but meh, it worked. Not that heavy. Not that cantilevered out.

...which is likely a good thing. I doubt your trusses were designed for that kind of concentrated load anywhere along the bottom chord, unless you specified it at the time of design.
Ah! 1/4" fenders with the screws - the mark of a true professional.
It does look sturdy enough, esp. for a one time use - but we gotta give you shit...

Update on the @TheBoogieman recommended mfs that I purchased just over a month ago. Saturday morning I read Boog's post about his mfs crapping out on the turn signals and emergency flasher and thought "oh great, I bought on his recommendation. I wonder how long before mine bites it." Well, later Saturday afternoon I headed to HD and son of a bitch my turn signals and hazard weren't working. I didn't even notice until I was almost to HD. All other functions work but talk about a jinx. 
Anyway, I thought that might give you a chuckle Boog, hang in there.

. I remember finding the humor in my ignition actuator breaking about 2 weeks after I learned from a post about how that can happen.
In case it’s helpful, I’ve had two Napa Echilin MFS units that have worked well for me. Current unit has the fog light switch that I use to turn on my bumper mounted flood lights. I don’t have the other unit anymore unfortunately or I’d sent it your way.

Haha. Assuming their reviews aren’t already awful and the product makes them money, I expect a message offering to send you a replacement to get that review removed or worded more positively.
Removed my rear axle yesterday for some maintenance.
A scuff & shoot. After patching the few rust holes, the bare metal was sprayed with epoxy primer. Then the whole Jeep was sanded to 80 grit and sprayed with 2 coats of high build primer. After sanding to 220 grit, the Jeep was sprayed with ~4 coats of Eastwood Acrylic Urethane; color "Shaggin' Green Metallic"
My 1st TJ was a '97 and was Citron Pearl. I really liked that color and this offering from Eastwood was a close match.
