I got a message saying that my "Oooh" GIF was deleted because it was making it personal, but my comment above that actually is making it personal is still in the thread. Go figure?
I'm trying to keep this thread on track.
The thread is about radiators. It's somehow turned to a forum member who has a personal gripe with Blaine about a product he bought. You can see that is now spilling over into this discussion with the posts I removed.
Blaine is a forum sponsor. He does a lot for everyone in this community, like him or not.
I know Blaine well. He wouldn't sell a product that was subpar. Moreover, if there was a problem he would make it right.
I would encourage this part of the discussion to take place via DM.

Maybe you should hash it out with Blaine in a new thread. I'd love to see how that goes.
It’s funny how everyone takes his work as gospel on every subject, like radiators, yet he sold me a product didn’t fit as advertised, and the sheep still chime in defending him….
No, he doesn't make radiators. I probably need to talk to Blaine about getting a banner for that page. He currently sponsors the ROTM and ROTY contests. I don't make a dime off it (which I am fine with) but he gives away thousands of dollars in prizes to forum members over the course of the year.
I also know Blaine personally. He may be rough around the edges but he is a man of principles and values. Like I said above, he wouldn't sell anything that wasn't up to his standards. And if you've seen any of the rigs he's built, his standards are about as high as they come and his attention to detail is something to behold.
But you see what I'm getting at here, right? You've got a problem with him and you're letting it show through. First we were talking about radiators (the subject of this thread) and now it's devolved into an issue you have with him.
That's fine, but just keep that out of this thread, that's all I'm asking.
FWIW I know Blaine personally. He's a stand-up guy.
If possible, ask him to return said product. I don't know his return policy but I'm sure if you're that unhappy he will refund you.
Let him answer. Mistakes happen. It’s how you handle them that matters. The cooler bracket doesn't fit the v bar because the 2006 is a smaller bar. No mention of that on his site. I wasn’t interested in ruining a condenser because his bracket doesn’t fit as advertised. Waste of time and money messing with that product. Simple, doesn’t fit. Yet the sheep say it’s impossible…typical forum herd mentality.
No one said anything was impossible. You are misrepresenting again. More than a few of us are suspicious of your version of this story in part because how you have characterized yourself in 9 posts. You did this to yourself.
What did you purchase and what did not fit? Have you contacted me via any method so I can solve the problem?
Are you fucking actually serious? The entire rest of the world has cut a short piece of rubber hose, slipped it around the V bar tube and mounted it right up with zero issues, damage, or slippage. Yes, there are a few smaller V bars out there, not many and the issue is easily resolved.
If you want to return, I will gladly trade you one of the new V bar set ups for it that doesn't require the use of the factory V bar.
I'll do better than that, I'll trade him one of the new V bar set ups straight across once I get his back.

When you did the write up on the cooler install with the rest of the steering bits, what size was your V bar? Of the 5-600 we've sold, there are maybe 4-5 that have the solid rather than tubular V-bars. Everyone who has ever contacted me about it has been told to just slip some thin rubber hose over and move on. What did you do?
I called you and you said to slip hose over it. You were pretty grumpy about the issue. Pretty hack solution in my opinion for the cost of the part. Why don’t you supply the hose? How long will the hose last? Why didn’t you state that in your ad? Guess this asshole wasn’t lying after all.
If I remember correctly, I slipped some rubber over it and moved on.
