All the sharp edges of the cooler and brackets would cut into the hose over time. Then allow moment and damage to the condenser. And possibly hose rubbing issues in other areas. Not acceptable to me.
Steering cooler mounts that don't fit with tolerances sloppier than your mom’s whisker biscuit, little bit of gay stuff also.

No, it won't allow movement because it is clamped tight by the cooler and the bracket. I don't know how long the hose will last because no one has ever worn it out yet. I didn't state it in the ad because it is a small number with the problem and probably took 10 years of installs before it ever showed up. After that, it is a simple matter to slip a piece of hose over the V bar as others have done with zero issues.
Not acceptable is more than fine, send it back for a
refund only since I am withdrawing my previous offer to trade you out since you seem wholly intent on just being a dick about it.As for the forum write-up, there are far too many variables to write one set of instructions that covers all of them. It is better for all concerned to have an illustrated write-up that covers most of it and then I can answer questions as they arise.

What Mr. Monger is overlooking is this is a very small number of the installs. The only way to accommodate that would be to do a separate run of special mounts and then a batch of coolers with smaller slots machined in them. The expense of doing a small batch would drive an already too costly item up even higher and then I'd sit on 3/4's of the batch without them selling.
Hose is easier and just as effective.
I had to make a bracket identical to your updated one. It’s not worth the time and shipping to return it. Thanks for the offer for a refund, but you should have done that when I called the first time. Guess making it public changes your response. Funny how that works.
The refund offer would have been based on you saying you were not going to use the parts and that answer has always been and will always be, absolutely. Did you make me understand you were not going to use the parts? Alternately, the stupid easy answer would have be to snag the larger V bar and bolt that right in. Suppose that was probably too complicated though.

Unfortunately boss this is common in the car mod scene as a whole and definitely true in the Jeep space. The fact is the newest TJ is 20 years old. We as a community are being forced to move away from the guaranteed fit and getting further into custom fab and community notes for modifications.
Its far easier for a manufacturer to say "Call with any questions" and provide good customer service than it is to hash out every single individual fitment solution. I think its best if consumers give the manufacturers grace when it comes to fitment on our 20-30 year old rigs, otherwise they will just stop providing the product or service and call it obsolescence and move on to the JL crowd.
That said, this problem was solved (by you) and you are still coming out to bash the mfg. Poor form. You could have easily posted about what you did to solve it and Blaine may have praised it or even commissioned you to let him use the design.

I’ve had it since 2006. Been great so far. Drives to and from the trails all over California. Been pretty trouble free. One of many rigs. It’s also my commuter, which is only 10 miles. It’s alot more fun and challenging wheeling it than my buggy and other rigs. I won’t take it to JV-Cougar buttes, the Nevada trials you clowns don’t know about, and moon rocks. I try to keep the body damage to a minimum. It does Fordyce, Barrett lake, dusy, hell hole, Death Valley, slick rock and rubicon easily. My other rigs require trailering on long distance runs. Im getting tired of that.
Right. I actually appreciate that parts that fit the CJ/YJ/TJ are often advertised as "universal fit" because the shit can be made to fit and we are the type to do it..
