What did you do to your TJ today?

The resin version looks diabolical

I didn't want the rest of my Jeep's paint to end up like the hood cowl that I just replaced, so I spared no expense ($35 shipped) and bought a cover for it. I even put the stupid HOA permit on the outside so the a$$holes don't tow it away. I can't park it near the woods and let the mice eat up any more wiring at night.

This is why my next project is clearing out 1/2 my garage to park the jeep...and also a place to work on it that's level and out of the weather. This is my second summer with my TJ and I hate watching the sun blaze on it.

I recommend not using the zipper! Luckily I use mine as a winter dust cover.

Did the NRT fuel rail, NRT engine bay 6AN fuel line, and a Radium Pulse Damper on the jeep.

The quick connect fittings were starting to go, and my pulse damper was loose and juuuust starting to weep. Also a possibly imaginary chance to gain smoothness while fighting heat soak?

The PCM has not yet fully driven in the changes, but it definitely took the edge off low RPM stutters.

Jeep still likes to randomly surge at stop lights.

The only part of the fuel system that is original is the hard line on the frame.

Every sensor is new and Mopar, NTK or Standard. New PCM, all new EVAP. New cats. Brake Booster passed multiple kinds of leak tests. It’s not the torque converter as popping it into neutral doesn’t change anything. Transmission fluid is good and the correct kind, I know because the Solenoid was replaced.

This has got to be a wiring issue. I own a multimeter and downloaded the service manuals. But I am still too gun shy to really try and dig into this.

Do a visual inspection first. I'd certainly unloom and inspect the harness running from the fuel pump to the transfer case and I'd unwrap the section running along behind the engine.

The fuel rail is super nice, but won't help with heat soak if you're having that issue. Al conducts heat much better than the stock steel. Mine gets hot to the touch after running in 100F weather.
