I finally fixed the brakes and death wobble on the TJ

. Now I need to figure out the exhaust leak and fuel pressure issues. Drove it a couple miles today and man it felt good.
she’s outgrowing the garageswapped in an adjustable rear track bar, got the rear driveshaft looking straight for the most part.
Still getting thud thud thud when coasting and the clutch pushed in…. I really hope the Eaton E locker isn’t messed up. Not sure what’s causing it ugh

With the Eaton longer bolts are needed to attach the ring gear because the flange on the Eaton is thicker than the stock carrier. Speaking from experience. I'd pull the cover and check the bolts.
I’ll take a look in a bit. I just find it odd that when the driveline is underload I don’t feel any thud, but as soon as I coast it’s pretty bad

That's exactly what I was experiencing.
Have you checked the driveshaft universals? Do you have a DC rear shaft? That center ball can be hard to diagnose.![]()

Interesting...do you have a link of where to get these longer bolts. I seem to be needing a set.
Glad mine didn’t look like that holy! Still chasing my thudding issue tho :/
Only down a partial tooth. It'll be fine.
The splines however...twisted splines make for fun c clip extraction.
So far I’ve been getting negative vibes from Eaton E lockers![]()
Zip ties don't get enough respect![]()
