What did you do to your TJ today?

Depending on what state he's in it may not be that expensive. I was able to recharge the ac on my truck with a $40 can from Walmart. This is our autozone ac section🤣

If only it was just the freon... But buying (or renting) the gear to get it in adds up quick. Either way, CHECK FOR LEAKS with dye.

she’s outgrowing the garage 😎 swapped in an adjustable rear track bar, got the rear driveshaft looking straight for the most part.

Still getting thud thud thud when coasting and the clutch pushed in…. I really hope the Eaton E locker isn’t messed up. Not sure what’s causing it ugh

"Measure twice, cut once"

Finally put a new (rebuilt in Mexico) vacuum booster in. Knew it was needing one but following @John Cooper around Coalmont OHV gave me motivation. Starting up the engine when stopping on a steep hill kinda made you hold your breath when there was no stored vacuum.
It’s so flat in west Tennessee you don’t really miss pre start vacuum 😳😬

Today I found out that a Harbor Freight flat "$50 special" winch plate makes my winch set 2" lower and @ 1.5" further away from the radiator, than my Quadratec raised winch plate. One day I'll have time to finish putting it on and see if the extra opening will be enough to drive on the interstate without heating up.

When the dash doesn't have enough room for all of your ducks. o_O

This sighting earlier today earned an honest and hearty, "Ah, for fuck's sake..." 😖

I rarely carry my phone when out and about running errands, and probably a good thing. I see a lot of disgraceful jeep/duck displays from the other island-dwelling tards I exist with on this glorified sandbar. I spotted what looked like a fairly fresh JL in the grocery lot the week before last, I'm not sure how they saw anything out the front. The viewable area through the windshield had to be under 65%, the rest was crammed with ducks..above, below, both sides. Amazing, and not in a good way. Absurd might be a better choice.

There's a Jeep club on the island, but I don't think it's the kind most of us would appreciate. Likely very few TJ's and a lot of ducks. I tend to avoid them.

Nothing TJ related, but I'll probably be signing off soon. My Cancer scare ended up good, but my wife wasn't so lucky yesterday. I have no problem with me dying, but I'm not so good dealing with people I care about going through it. Shit happens to everyone and all the money in the world can't fix health issues. She had bleeding issues for three years but wouldn't do procedures because of her fears of anesthesia after a bad experience. I told her nothing ever gets better. Unfortunately, I was right. Not the time for me to say anything to her. I have no friends (or family that I talk to). Shit happens for a reason, I guess. Not sure why God would punish her instead of me. Maybe this is his way. Who knows.

Guys don’t talk about the hard stuff, and we probably should. Don’t be a stranger.

Thank you so much! I'm not a talker (anti-social) as my wife would say. Emotional wreck I would say.
p.s. To clarify about not having any friends. Most (6) committed suicide, then the rest died from drugs, and alcohol. Two of my former close friends have been in prison for 20 plus years. That's why I stopped hanging out with them years ago. My best friend died a few years ago at 50 from all the bad things we used to do. God must have a plan for me. I hope it's not payback. Thank you so much once again. (y)
Well no such luck with all of us, we’re here to harass you endlessly. If you get tired of us, just give a recommendation of where we should go and how we should fornicate with ourselves and we’ll leave you alone. NOT! You can’t get rid of us that easily. Stay on and lean on us as needed, we will be there for you.

Today was more of a "What did I do near my TJ today" which consisted of doing a very preliminary cleanup of my garage. First, it's a disaster. I won't even show pics. The only thing that is pretty well organized is my transmission stuff. I have regear stuff out, electrical stuff out, sockets everywhere, not to mention kids bike, baseball & softball equipment....and as of last week a hard top. Well I need to find my voltmeter, and I've basically narrowed it down to somewhere in the garage. I spent most of the Thursday night game just sorting all the stuff I have out into a mess of bins. It's a long ways from being organized but it's a start. I also found a pair of shoes I bought in 2003, and a BRAND NEW Craftsman cordless drill that apparently came with an impact I bought in 2016.

But no voltmeter. Le sigh.

It's not payback. It's simply to encourage you to be a rock for your ailing wife. Be there for her, be supportive, and love her (and stop complaining on the forum about her - she's a blessing to you!) It will make you a better person. That's it - a very simple plan that requires diligence, patience, and perseverance. Those of us who pray will pray that you succeed. You got this! ;)

Ditto to this. It's definitely not payback for the past. If God worked that way we'd all be in trouble.

As you've already seen with other replies, you have plenty of friends on here. Please don't be a stranger, you would be missed by many I'm sure, including myself. Love and best wishes to you both.

Finally finished up BB's Body Lift, Fox shocks install on the rear and 1 3/4" boost in the front (really just a 1" as I took the factory spacer out). Very pleased with the outcome.

Still need to install the steering shaft riser installed, get the carpet from @AndyG and installed and new jounce bumpers in the front and rear. Oh and new front shocks.

@Tronner did you finish yours yet????
