What did you do to your TJ today?

Wow your new paint looks awesome, really!

Thanks Jerry! It’s the factory paint, detailer did a process called paint correction. I was resistant to do a wrap or respray so this was the best option from what I could determine. Up close it’s got its flaws, but 5-10 feet away is what you see in the pics.

Thanks for posting that picture, it helps a lot. I actually received the Quadratec catalog today and was just looking at lifts. What's better to do to get clearance for a 31 inch tire, a suspension lift or a body lift?

Sorry if I have really rookie questions, this is all completely new to me.

Great looking Jeep by the way!
Installed the novak transe-case shift linkage on my 2006 tj. Being a hard headed old man,i did it without removing skid plate or any other interfering stuff.to do this way you must use patience and all one hand work.WOW, glad it is complete and works like it should. At 78 years young I have started slowing down.It took me about 5hrs as i don't move as fast as i once did.
You're still Jeepin' that's all that matters!

Very happy with the results. The paint was in really rough shape when it went in. PO’s didn’t give much love it seems. It still has a lot of imperfections, but that’s part of what makes it a Jeep. It went from a dull black/blue color to a much nicer brighter blue with mirror finish.

I think it would look better with some Steelers logos on the side! ;)

The blue looks amazing after paint correction!

Ready to feed my front diff more rocks! Just a bit of tinkering today installing my front Warn Diff skid.

Front Bumper as requested :)...It was polished steel...but I felt it was too much bling so painted the bumper black about 4 years ago.(keeping the grill Chrome though )

Let us know how it goes....

Well after thinking it over, part of the fun of owning a Jeep is the uniqueness of each one, and the originality of the owners. So as to not completely copy the bumper of our friend @Kiwi TJ , and to preserve the idea that his is likely one of a kind, I found this. The size seemed good, and I really like the old-school font. It was raw steel, so I sprayed it front and back with a few coats of Rust-Oleum and attached it to my factory front bumper.

Has an old school Kaiser look to it, nice!

Do u have installed pics yet?

Green just because that is what paint I had on hand. Transmissions coolant lines are in an unfortunate spot on the opposite side from pic which covers where the top front bolt goes in and was a bit of a pain but used some zip ties to pull them out of the way enough to get bolt in there.

Sick dude, I’m thinking of doing the same but I think it’s something I certainly don’t need as I don’t do rock crawling just for extra piece of mind

Picked up a few things from the body shop.

Im not sure how good its going to look. Im sure its going to be foreign. But we will see what it looks like tomorrow.

I bet that will look good! The black bezels on white TJ’s make the headlights look too small for my liking, but I bet paint match will look nice!

Oh I am definitely not an advocate for black headlight bezels on any TJ/LJ. The chrome really was the right choice from the factory. But excited to see what it will look like tomorrow with the paint matched.

I can’t wait to see that!!

Looking forward to see that as well. I got lazy and painted mine black, but if I like the look of yours, I'll be changing them.

Hard top is back on, and I cleaned up some 4" rear RC springs I was given.

Also spent the day at friends that live next to Sydney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon. A good part of the day was spent driving kids around since the Jeep was topless and door less.
