Looks like the e-autogrilles one? Are they the same bumper? Better price if it is.

Well, the Currie Rock Jock 4" suspension lift is mostly on. Just a few things to tidy up, then the body lift and alignment.

Looks awesome man! Is that a factory Rubicon color? If so, I've never seen it before.
Props on keeping the Moab wheels too, I kept mine as well!
Nice TJ! I bet that CJ is pretty proud of it's younger brother right about now...View attachment 10707

Thanks Chris. I went with Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires in LT315/75R16. I almost went BFG Mud Terrains KO2's instead as I didn't like the new MT/R's as much as the old style, but they grew on me after consideration.
The color is Inca Gold, a factory color on 2003 Rubicons.

That's a great looking TJ!!! Now get it out of the way so we can see the CJ? ;-)
I was running the Fox aluminum body shocks, but I hated them (a lot of people do). I switched to the Bilstein 5100 shocks and couldn't be any happier.
Reviving an older post but what did you not like about the Fox shocks that the Bilsteins remedied?
I just read thru this thread. Very good review.
I bought my TJ brand new in 2005. And just turned over 100,000 miles on it.
I remember the ride when it was all factory, and before I knew anything about suspensions, I had a 4" skyjacker lift kit installed. Rode like crap, but I figured "eh, it's a jeep not a car".
Couple years ago, I made a huge investment and installed the 4" savvy/Currie suspension. Aluminum double adjustment control arms, Currie Currectlync steering, adjustable front and rear track bar with the Currie antirock.
I'm also running OMe shocks, and it's sitting on 33" BFG KO2's. And had it recently regeared to 5.13.
It's the BEST ride I have ever experienced on a jeep. And with the new gear ratio, it's very peppy. I'd love to get 35's, but with the current setup, I can't bring myself to do it.
I feel you! My Jeep with this Currie setup rides like a damn Cadillac on-road and off-road, it's truly amazing!
I had an OME 2.5" lift before this and that also rode excellent, I just wanted a bit more height, which is why I went with the Currie.
I've often considered 35" tires, but for what I do, even the 33" tire is unnecessary in all honesty!
My wife and I just adopted a newborn. And I was a little worried about trying to fit the car seat into my TJ. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. But I can only imagine how much more difficult it would be if it had 35's on it.
And I just love the power and how peppy my TJ is after regearing. I really don't want to lose that. It's SO much fun to give it some gas while my wife takes a sip out of her drink...
Haha, good point! We have two kids (4 years old and 11 months old) and therefore 2 car seats. Putting the kids in the back is easy with the 33" tires, but the 35" tires would make it worse, I have no doubt. So there's another reason I should stay away from 35" tires.
Re-gearing definitely helped my TJ big time! The 4.10 ratio that comes on the 42RLE equipped Rubicon's is an absolute joke. It works for the manual transmissions, but on the autos it's just a joke, even from the factory.
