What did you do to your TJ today?

All day Saturday from 2-11pm learned how to do a complete drum brake job...that was only for the right side rear. Thankfully it only took 3 hours to do the left on Sunday.

I just bought one as well. Hopefully we can get some more content up regarding this hood and if it’s worth it or not.

Well I don't know if it qualifies as DOING SOMETHING to my TJ but I went down to the Portland area and pickup my new hood for my TJ. Came across a used Duraflex heat reduction hood for a good price so I decided I'd give one a shot.

Please do. I've read reviews that it needs quite a bit of prep work, but with anything fiberglass that's true. I'm more curious about the line where it meets the fender

On saturday I replaced my factory sealed beam headlights with some KC Halogens. Had to wire brush the connectors they were so corroded.

Then on Sunday I did a job I had been putting off for awhile because of the cold weather. Replaced my left front outer steering knuckle because the PO had stripped out one of the caliper mount threads so my caliper was only being held on by one bolt and it was causing me to lose sleep at night. Only took me an hour and a half which was great got done just in time for kickoff.

*ignore my brake lines, I also removed the drop brackets I had left on when I upgraded the lines and the correct lines are waiting to be installed so I can orient the banjo bolt in the correct direction so they don't droop. Learning as I go!

Hey now, I resemble that remark... (this was Feb 25th last year) I was riding the snowmobile today and it was only 4 degrees.

This is the first set of boxes I deliver to on the other side of the summit...

What’s the containers for? Packages?
Yep, the wooden box behind the mail boxes was the original "package lock box" and the green box on the lower left is for small packages and mail from Nov.1st to May 31st. Those "winter/spring months there is a resident that has to travel about 10 miles out to get their mail. In the summer I actually deliver to their boxes at their physical addresses.

I have nothing but respect for what you do. I am in the parcel delivery business. Something tells me GaTechTJ's postman wasn't slogging through snow drifts, though. ;)

I guess I should have put an emoji up after the "Hey now", :ROFLMAO: I'm betting you're right... it seems like some postal delivery individuals believe it is beyond their job description to go the extra mile once in a while. I end up plowing the snow out from in front of most of the boxes on my route.. Even the ones that the county maintains the road for...
