All around Jeep

Well, you know as well as I do that these things will do the Rubicon in stock form (a Rubicon model at least).

If you've got front and rear lockers, 33s, a belly-up skid (all things I'd have), and a good spotter, you should be able to do the Rubicon trail without breaking a single thing, no question about it.
what do u mean by belly up skid plate ? like the tummy tuck body lift mod or a full underside skid plate that covers everything ?

Yes, I mean a tummy tuck. That is hands down one of the best mods you can do for your Jeep, period. That and an engine skid and you will be thanking me many times over if you start playing in the rocks.

Had to make a small cut into my dana 30 diff to drain I will probably buy the breather kit aswell
this is the video in the first portion shows this @DWR didnt want to highjack that guys post

Awesome Jeep! I love what you did for your bumpers and great job cutting your flares! I think those are the first cut fenders I've seen that I actually like. Patriot blue is a great TJ color too.

That's a really nice build, great job. I think you said it was already lifted when you got it, do you know by how much? I also love the cut on the flares, unfortunately couldn't copy that in the UK as we need full tire coverage and I think the side indicator is also a legal requirement, but looks great on your jeep!

One bit of info so you know how lucky you are to have this as a high school student. I looked to get my 17 year old daughter insured to drive my TJ, quote for insuring her was... wait for it... about $4,700 a year. Needless to say she is not driving it.

Thanks I appreciate it the goal was to change the fenders out but I just used a jigsaw and a steady hand and it turned out okay with some measurements of course

Thanks I appreciate it I think the lift is around 3 inches it may have been 4 and sagged to 3 over time and in california im also supposed to have full coverage and my side indicators but I take that risk. I do realize that have parents that are the best I had actually come out of a tacoma trd offroad 4x4 and icon suspension and method wheels and nitto tires and it was new but I had made the decision to go with a tj because I like that I can do what I want with it and I dont feel as privileged and the tj is just easy to work on

I have never had good luck with morris 4x4. I have tried them twice - first time they never sent the product because they said they no longer carry it but last time I check it's still on their website. Second time they sent the wrong parts to me too. I'll never use them again. Glad you still got your lockers in despite them making it hard!

Thanks I appreciate it , I try to take the advice from chris and the older guys im going to buy a body lift so I can do the tummy tuck have any recommendations for the build ?
plan your build out the best you can so you don't buy parts twice
buy quality parts (buy once , cry once)
build it for you
Have fun

got my winch back from Vince's winches he did a great job and is a friendly guy if you need your warn or ramsey worked on in the Ventura county LA county area and I decided to get the red splicer.

What a beaut. Really like the fender trim you did. Seems like you should get a good bit of flex with the 33s on that 3" lift there.
Thanks I appreciate it, the fenders I would eventually like to get some mce fenders but the trim worked out good for now and The lift is old so I might do the 2.5 plus 1.5 body lift to do the tummy tuck like @Chris mentioned. Also sweet jeep I like the color and how do u like the softop?

Im getting the 3 inch rancho springs which seem to be a little stiffer and some 5000x's but i read somewhere that they ran long if i get the 3 inch springs do I get the 2-3 inch springs or the 3-4 inch springs off of amazon ? @Jerry Bransford I think I saw somewhere you commented on this

get the shorter of the two, 2-3" for 3" springs.
