What did you do to your TJ today?

Putting her to work. Helping my old man move some stuff around. Good test of low range in the paddock

Found out you can fit a set of five 31’s in a TJ with the back seat still in it. 🤣

I sold my ravines with tires.
Tight squeeze!! What did you get for them if you don’t mind me asking? I’m going to be selling my Ravines this week now that I have my new wheels and tires.

Installed some lighting under the hood. Now I should be able to see a lot better. Heck with that little stock light. LOL Just hope the 3M tape on the LED's holds up. :D

Just zip tied the switch to the air cleaner for now.

This is a bad before and after as it is still daylight. LOL You can see a shadow under the air intake in the after pic. LOL

Got my hockey pucks cut down to match the spare tire bumpers and then put my tire on the mount and realized how off center my third brake light was off. So, took 5e tire off, removed the brake light and lined it and drill new holes in the bracket a and put it all back together. Much better!

over the past few weeks I removed the 2“ ProComp lift and 265/75-16 MTs that were on this 2003 X when I bought it a month ago. It had a hell of a vibration at speed and was undriveable on the highway. I just wanted to get it back to stock and drive it around to get a base line as to what it needs. Swapped in some Moog OEM spec springs and some Rancho RS5000X shocks. Today, the 15x8 Canyon replicas from OE Wheels LLC and 235/75-15 Toyo Open Country III tires went on. Rides so much better. No more vibes and the 3.07 gears are giving a sigh of relief now that those 32s are gone.
Pics: with lift and 32s, stock height with 32s, stock height with 29s

Recommend some 1" spacers on that bad boy to move it up a touch for the crash machines behind you. Lowe's or HD will have nylon spacer sleeves in the hardware aisle.

Good looking color. Khaki's the color a Jeep should be. Why else are folks slapping mud all over theirs to look like ours. ;)

Got the clutch switch and cancel switch project done. Cancel switch isn't in the greatest location- I really wanted to put it on/in the steering column shroud, but the darn PBNC was longer than a whore's dream, so I ended up putting it on the kick panel. Soft wired it so I can unplug and remove the kick panel easily.

What is the purpose of the cancel switch?

I went for a long drive last week and forgot I had cruise control! Actually I have never used cruise control on any vehicle lol

Fitted a rear Fire extinguisher and 6 Hardtop quick remove fasteners, pain in the ass getting 2 spanners on bolts and nuts especially up near the front seats where you need to be a contortionist to remove them! If you look close you can see I managed to get my rear demister/wiper plug off and its never going back on! soon to be a rear 12v outlet :)
