Thinking about selling my LJ, thoughts on pricing?

Well, if I understand the crew here they are suggesting somewhere between $19,000 and $25,000…..I would really like to get that but I don’t think it would be fair. So thinking about somewhere closer to $15,000. What do you think?

Thinking about selling my LJ, thoughts on pricing?

I built the attachments using 3/16" plate. The rear is attached to a piece of roll bar tubing intended for a JK, I shortened it, narrowed it and mounted it using the existing rock hard style clamping setup (used six allen head bolts). The front is attached to the stock front "cage" bars that...

Thinking about selling my 2005 LJ Rubicon, 155,000 miles, 6 speed, 4.88 gears in stock Dana 44 axles, Mastercraft front seats, stock rear seat (not sure how good of shape it is in), Gr8Tops Safari Top, Firecracker red, custom heavy duty rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, Warn XD9000 winch up...

    #6 Misfire, sometimes, at idle.

2005 6 cylinder, 6 speed, rubi LJ. Not all the time, but often enough that it is a hassle. It will idle a little rough and usually, not all the time, it will throw a code ten to fifteen minutes later. I have replaced the plugs, I have replaced the factory heat shielding (thinking it was a...

    Montstaliner issues, other than ugliness?

I used to have an M416 trailer that I made a plywood insert (so it could be removed and the trailer used to haul cargo) with a roof top tent on it. I covered it with monstaliner, inside and out, after the plywood was screwed to the 1" metal frame work. The plywood rotted indicating the...

    Rust problems

I agree with what Andy says, however, any time you have two pieces of metal sandwiched together (ie your rocker guards and the body) there is a high probability of corrosion. Fluid film is awesome, if you have a compressor (or access to one) follow Andy's advice. The bigger problem is that...

    Looking for opinions on re-gearing

The people on here are top notch (along with a healthy dose of sarcasm at times). You will learn a lot here and they truly do want to help you out. Your dilemma is the size of your budget and the size tire you want to run. They are going to be difficult to work together. 33" tires are more...

Front locker light blinking, intermittently, in 2 high

I am a little OCD when it comes to that sort of thing, if there is a light on that is not suppose to be, it will drive me nuts until I figure out why and how to fix it.....

    How to restore fenders?

Pretty sure your flares are painted at the factory, not sure the heat gun will work other than messing up the paint.....YMMV

Front locker light blinking, intermittently, in 2 high

2005 Rubicon LJ, started about a month ago, give or take, intermittently the front "Front Locker" light will flash. The number of flashes varies, the timing of it seems to be random. We returned from an 7500 mile plus trip from VA to UT to NV and back to VA and did not have this issue. Any...

Best carbon cleaner for the 4.0?

I routinely do not shift the six speed until 3,000 rpms, occasionally I will go as high as 3500, then every once in a while take it to 4,000. But after our 3 1/2 week trip from VA to UT and back I am scratching my head as to why I am now getting a misfire on #1 and #6 more often than before. I...

    Coolant leak, but from where?

2005 LJ rubicon, 6 speed (cause I know someone will ask....), I have two places where coolant is leaking onto the ground, One is front and center right under the harmonic balancer. I assume (yeah I know ass you and me) this is coming from the water pump, although I can not physically see...

Interview with Mr. Blaine on Jeep Talk Show podcast

I believe you are correct, but this requires two people and/or a device to hold the pedal down while you first loosen then tighten the bleeder. I think the OP was trying to do a one person method?...... \

Interview with Mr. Blaine on Jeep Talk Show podcast

I have bled brakes like this once or twice, the amount of dirty fluid drawn back in is pretty small as long as there is plenty of clean fluid in the master cylinder, unless I am missing something (which is entirely possible). The only other way I can think of that would not have any dirty fluid...

Rust Buster upper rear coil buckets

Since no one else has answered you I will give my best guess, the arrow is to the inside since there is a cross member there and the lack of bracketry would allow for the clearance needed. Also, the long bracket makes for solid welding on the outside of the frame rail..... just my 2 cents.......

    Tie rod ends the same?

I am having difficulties getting the pitman arm end of the drag link tie rod end off. Any suggestions? I have a pickle fork on it now and have used some heat from a mapp gas but it is not budging.... Is this the same part number as the other left hand thread tie rod end? TIA
