I removed my hardtop last week and when I did the foam seal stuck to the tub, of course destroying it. 1St question, do most people use a seal? 2nd question please. Does any company use a rubber seal instead of the foam junk. Thanks!

Have just replaced fuel pump, plugs filters. Almost always starts and then 1 time in 200 it fires by wont run. Just checked fuel in rail and it was dry. Waited a minute, turn the key for 30 seconds and then to ignition and it started instantly. What is the reason, please
