I sold my 2014 JKU for a 2000 TJ. Not my daily driver. I love it and I'm very happy with my decision. Parts are everywhere, it's cheaper and easier to work on. I have a small car for a daily driver. I would not want to drive my TJ daily.

Hey guys I took apart my NP231 to deal with some leaks. Upon disassembly, I found a few fragments of something at the oil pickup (along with a metric ton of RTV... everywhere). Picture below. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Thanks in advance.

Just checking in, in 2021, to say this threat helped me with a similar issue I had related to the improper torque of my rear upper control arms on the axle side. Thank you evharris, for closing out your thread with a solution.

Like I said, when I installed it and ran through the tcase shifts on the rack it seemed to engage each position well. Perhaps driving it around caused some things to settle and it needs to be readjusted. I just wasn't sure if the symptom I was experiencing was commonly related to some other issue.

I measured the diameter of the axle housings.. about 1.52 in the front and 1.62 in the back. There are wires coming out of the pumpkins in the front and rear because there are eaton elockers installed
