    Why do I always do something stupid?

    the wait for axle shafts is still long. my new fronts finally showed up, so i excitedly jumped right on them. while tightening the lug nuts, i noticed the sheet metal dust covers that go behind the unit bearings. i cried a little. let's hear who would tear it all back down and install them...

    Transfer case linkage interferes with vent

    anyone know a trick to keep the vent hose on the transfer case with the savvy cable shift? i don't remember what the factory linkage looked like, but with the savvy cable, my vent hose gets pushed right off. thanks.

    Revolution shafts dust cover

    axle shafts are still hard to find in stock. amazon claims i'll see revolution discoveries in ~5 weeks. i think i've read that they don't hold the factory tube "pebble shield", and my favorite utuber didn't even mention it. does anyone think the shield is necessary? thanks.

    parking brake linkage

    very soon, my lj will have parking brakes for the first time since i have owned it :) just want to make sure, but the piece below connects to the apply cable and comes through the backing plate. should it move as 1 or 2 pieces? mine is quite solid together as 1 piece. thanks.
