    Selling the Rubi

I'm in Colorado. I physically am having trouble getting in the TJ these days so I unfortunately must part with it. I needed $10,000 for it. No less. 2004 Auto trans 149k Tilt Airbags Cruise Leather seats New tires Tow package No problems at all other than an exhaust leak at the header...

    Horn not working

Probably in the steering wheel. I drove my MJ for 9 yrs with no horn. No big deal, no hardship. Horns don't blow away whatever you're honking at ahead. But I also don't like things that don't work.

Inside door handles. Are they junk?

Actually that makes perfect sense. I was going to I'll the panels anyway to see if speakers can be installed. I'll look at the rod to see if it can be adjusted. All I have are the two pathetic speakers in the roof console dealio. I was told there's supposed to be a woofer in the center console...

Inside door handles. Are they junk?

Sorry to quote you, but I've never heard of "door handle straps further down" whatever those are. I have a latch with the lock, an arm rest, and a cubby at the bottom for junk. The rocker style lock is cheap and I usually have to use the key to lock it. My guess is it's the problem and is half...

Inside door handles. Are they junk?

I've owned most Jeep models, this is my first TJ. All Jeep's have characteristic glitches. The inside door handles on my 04 Rubi kind of POP when I open the doors, like they're half locked or something. Is that a TJ thing like CJ and YJ wipers that don't stop at the bottom of the windshield and...

Still some issues with the new Rubi

I should specify.....just the rear seat and front buckets are leather. And yes, they're original. Not aftermarket. I'll try to grab a pic.

Still some issues with the new Rubi

This TJ has everything. 4.0, hard top, tilt, cruise, auto, leather interior, yadda yadda. I'd be surprised if it didn't have an HO engine. I'm a co-founder of another Jeep specific site and we have a VIN decoder so the guys can get more information on their Jeep's. Is there one for these...

    Posting pictures here

Hey, being new I'm still learning so bear with me. I was trying to post some images with no luck apparently. Do you have to post them on an outside host then paste the link in a thread? I have a Jeep site I abandoned but it's still up so I could use that I suppose. Thanks in advance, folks. Jeep on!

    Another newbie from Colorado

Thanks, Don! It's ironic that I enhanced my Jeeps with expensive lift, tires, suspension, gears, etc. And now I have one with Dana 44's, electric lockers both ends, adjustable LCA's, adjustable track bar, JKS disco's. But always wanted a Wrangler so here I am. I even had a '67 Jeepster Commando as a...

    Another newbie from Colorado

Hiya. Just picked up an '04 Rubicon. No manual, of course. Why is it so hard to keep the manuals in these things?! Anyway, this is my sixth Jeep in 18 yrs. Started with an '89 XJ, then picked up an '86 MJ, then got my wife a '95 ZJ (still have it), then found a '91 XJ (still have it), then an...
