    I have a remarkable rear main seal leak after 2 attempts to fix it

    After 18 years and 32k or so miles, the original 4.0 rms decided to start leaking. Nothing wild, just a consistent drip after the motor had been running. I had a reputable 4x4 shop in the area replace the original rms with a Fel-Pro rms. Unfortunately this seal leaked as much as the original one...

    Rear main seal leak update

    I wanted to report back after changing to high mileage oil and also adding Titan stop leak. Worked great, after only driving only about 20 miles I have no leaks at all. Thanks for the advice on the forum.

    Tips and tricks for top half of rear main seal

    Any suggestions for tackling the top half of the rear main seal. Got the bottom of course, it isnt moving with a punch quite as easy as the videos?

    Rear main seal

    Thought i had a leak from my oil plug guy said its a main rear seal.Its leaking very little and my oil is never low. Are 2004 TJ 4.0 known for rear seal leaks.Also can i just use that bar leak stuff ,or would you have it fixed. Also any idea of price As always thanks
