'04 X (first Wrangler)

I plan to get an exo-roof rack with lighs on driver, passenger, and in the rear. But on the front I like the subtle lowprofile light locations. Although my tj has a little light bar on the bumper which I'm not a giant fan of. Probably will eventually relocate it.

So I got the antenna mounted, needs a little bit of finishing work to clean it up a little. I might try to get my buddy to 3D print some sort of snap on cover to hide the wire. Just need to hack up my console a bit to mount the radio inside 😂
Also need to get some tennis balls for when it flops around on the trails

The boot smacks all over it, but the shifter clears & no buttons get accidentally pressed.
Next up, filling all those blank switch spots.
That's for another day

Hi,
Could you please tell me which Momo boss you used to fit and after market steering wheel to your TJ? I’m trying to fit a wooden Momo wheel to my 2000 TJ and the boss I’ve got is a Momo K2401, which says it fits all Wranglers but it doesn’t. Many thanks Dave.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been offline for a while. If you still need one. I found mine on Amazon, but I had to do some fitment work to get it to operate smoothly. Also had to get a quick disconnect adapter as well as the Momo mount. Because there wasn't enough clearance between the wheel and the blinker sticks.

Suspension day. Still waiting on adjustable control arms. And my rear locker.
My living room is 1/2 filled with boxes up jeep parts 😂
Good feeling. But it will feel better when they are all installed.

The tools I really needed for the springs I left at my work. Oh well. Another day.
But I did get some tube doors and test fit them yesterday.
I thought that the door was untrue, the driver side didn't fit, so I did a little grinding and used the BFH for some customization. Turns out, the hinges on the driver side are slightly bent. The problem wasn't the door, it was the jeep )':
Passenger side fit up perfect, which is more important anyways, since thats where my wife sits.

Not sure who here has experience with core 4x4. But as i understand it, I can get Jonny joints at some point to upgrade them. They were packaged super well. And these things are STOUT!! Really heavy. Packaged super well.
Hoping my locker gets here soon so I can get everything put in and drive over stuff again.

I started later than I wanted today.
Got my toolbox from work unloaded lastnight.didbsome shocks ACA's, springs.
Come to find. It had 2in lift springs on it already. So I literally bought them to lift it, and found that it won't even matter. Oh welllllll. The shocks that were on it, I think we're stock. And painted yellow. With the shocks still on the jeep...
They were shot.

The adjustable control arms were. A bit of a pain to get in. still not sure I have them adjusted right, going to do some more research on it tonight.
Got them from Core 4x4, no instructions, no hardware, $559 shiped to my front door.
I can find instructions for free online. I really would have liked new hardware though.
Got the front nearly done today. Finish that up, and break into the ass end tomorrow. And Tomorrow I'll have help 😀
Today was all solo.

Got a new jack.
Got my locker in(the mail, not installed yet.)
Got the rear shocks off, and rear control arms off.
Got the old diff out.
Got some pics of the damage from the shredded splines of the old Dana 35 axle shaft.
Got those "tub protectors" off (which looks like they just promote rust...)
Thinking of chopping that bumper up a little bit to save some weight and personalize it a little.
Twas a Good day.

Lots to do.
Trying to stack my CB with my new Jenson radio. I don't really want to spend $80 on a double din bezel. So I'm going to attempt to modify the stock one.

Not feeling super great today
So just taking it easy and working on the smaller things I want to do on the TJ.
