1997 TJ dry steering test (video link inside)

Other than not being able to see the TRE on the left steering knuckle; all the other TREs appear to be in good condition....
You might consider lifting the front of the Jeep off the ground; do a check on ball joints up and down movement and spin the tires listening for noises in the hub bearings.

Nah I was just wondering as I was feeling oversteery when I was changing lanes on the freeway (~ 60mph). Just wanted to get some expert feedback on the steering components to see it's not out of place.

Thanks all.

All we know is that there isn't anything bad enough to see on video.

When I do a steering test, I grab a hold of each connection with my hand so I can feel for unwanted movement. Whoever is working the steering wheel needs to do short quick turns side to side. Long turns each way are just a waste of time.

I also have the engine running so that the power steering can stress the connections. That is how you can find things like a slightly loose track bar bolt, adjuster sleeve, ball joints, etc.
