Hey guys new member any help would be appreciated. My 97 Tj is is having run issues. It is hard to start at first it was turn the key a few times now it stumbles and die if I don’t give it gas to start. It sputters and surges at 3000 rpms in 3rd and 4th gear. Also my fuel gage will drop to E and not read then pop back up. Only code is down stream O2 sensor. Known issues are cracked exhaust manifold I just ordered a new one and leaky steering gear box. Recent work I drop the tank and replaced just the fuel pressure regulator (with a cheap one). That’s when I had my first issue with sputtering. I have ordered a new fuel pump pressure test showed it dropped immediately to 5 after pump shut off with key on engine off. Read 48 with engine on. Is there anything else I should check? I plan on doing the 15gal to 19gal mod when my 19 gal pump comes in. Thank you.
