I think this is what your asking for, I may be misunderstanding the question. The red line would be the top of your OE fender. If you are running 40s then I would assume you are running full width or wider axles. This should make it harder to contact the inner fenders, when turned to full lock you also have the radius of the tire falling away from the inner fender.

"I'm finding that even with a 1.5"-2" forward stretch, 40's still hit the inner fenders" @sierradmax Please post a pic if you have it or show where you are seeing interference with 40s. I put a 40 inch circle with dims from tub to center line if that helps. Are you seeing contact at the bottom area close to the rocker?

With fodeez, the clearance issue becomes the rear of the inner fender at full stuff and full turn. I think that is what Sierra is referencing..

Contact from rear of tire when turning @ full stuff and more so @ full articulation. Perhaps this is why Savvy's fenders have more of a drastic cut.

First draft/ set of the door skins and flak jackets test-fitted. Pretty damn sleek. I decided to try wrapping them in vinyl; it went OK, but I definitely have some things I’m going to try next time I break out the vinyl to do my corner armor. @Fluxor impresses once again. 🤙

Do I need to install the rockers and corners all together at the same time?

Should I wait on the fluxor rear bumper until the very end?

You don't need to take the top off (if you have two people), though it makes it significantly easier being able to reach inside by yourself, and most importantly being able to clamp the corner to the tub to properly place all of the holes.

No, I did my rockers first because the corners weren't created yet and they line up just fine. They would line up perfect if you did them together, however.

Install the bumper whenever you feel, it has no bearing on the placement of the other parts.

There is a backing plate used to brace against the tub for additional strength. There are through holes that a screw and nut go in to clamp the armor through the tub and into the plate.

I know you were asking Klay in particular, but I thought I’d chime in since I’ve installed a couple sets of corner armor and rockers. Although it is possible to install the corner armor with the top on, it’s much easier to get nuts on the backside and achieve the proper reveal on the edge of the tub when the top is off. As for the order of operations, in my opinion it’s easiest to install the corner armor first, then run the rocker tight up against the corner armor at the bottom. The rear bumper doesn’t interfere with any of the other pieces, so you can install it whenever. That said, I would remove the existing bumper during the teardown phase of the corner install so you have a little more room to get your hand under and behind any of the panels near the rear. Plus, it minimizes the risk of scratching any of your new parts while taking the old parts off.

Removing the bumper also makes it easier to tap the corner upwards after whacking the shit outta it with a dead blow to move it forward.

I kind of did the same thing. I used my corner armor to square up my TJ-6 stretch, so it was all kinds of wonky and needed some strong persuasion via a big ass hammer. However, I’ve found that using ratchet straps helps hold things as tight as possible in place.

If you use good clamps and tape the body paint, you can tap the armor any direction you want and be fairly precise with it.

I found straps to be too annoying if something didn't line up the way I liked. You may have a method I hadn't tried, though.

See pic below for more context; I wrapped them from the cage to the to the bottom links so they would apply pressure at the corner and force it into the panels. I did the same for the corner armor, but with the straps going the other direction to make sure the corner was as tight as possible. I also used a shit ton of clamps, but painter’s tape would have definitely helped.

Do I need to install the rockers and corners all together at the same time? Need to, No. Should you yes. Zero of these tubs are the same on both sides. Installing them together will let you sand down the joint where the rocker meets the corner for fitment. Don't rush the install and do the passenger side first. You can transfer things learned to the drivers side that you see every time you drive the jeep.

Should I wait on the fluxor rear bumper until the very end? Does not matter. The only real thing to pay attention to during the rear bumper install is centering the outer receiver (if you have the hitch) and installing the last two counter sink screws unitizing the bumper shell to the hitch. If you have a body lift on a LJ its pretty easy. If you have no body lift and TJ it takes a little forethought. TJ guys need to test fit everything with the tank dropped, use a small amount of rtv on said flange nuts on the receiver, let it dry. Remove the shell install the tank and now you can easily remove the shell when needed. PM me if you have any questions. I did put together a install guide that did not get shipped out with the first batch.
