Having issue I just can’t seem to figure out. 2005 wrangler 4.0 with 6 speed nsg370.

Was running fine. But had check engine light on.

Then the a few days ago. It starts rough idle and won’t go over about 2200 rpm’s

Pulled the code. Replaced the map sensor and throttle position sensor. And bank 2 bank 2 02 sensor. That got all codes to stop. Then immediately. Started throwing p0204. Which is injector4 fault code.

Replaced the number 4 injector. Still not fixed

Replaced the plugs. Gapped at .35

Checked the grounds.

Any ideas ?

P0204 means there is an injector circuit fault. This doesn't necessarily mean the injector itself is bad, it could be a wiring issue or even a PCM issue. I'd be testing the power at the injector connector. What codes did you get to make you replace the other sensors? Did you buy OEM Mopar sensors?

I will get all the codes it was throwing from print out when I get home.

Ya I pulled the whole harness out of it yesterday. Thinking the issue may be a chaffed wire. Harness is good. Tester is reading .7 on side and .5 on the other. At the injector plug.

Not sure why pcm would just up and go bad but I have seen stranger things

Ok looks like

Original code read was

P0158
P0204
P0068
P0123

Now getting
P0204 Injector circuit open
P0304 Misfire

Went thru the vac system. Including the pass rear evap tubes. Seems no issues

?? Ideas ??
