97 TJ Mystery Hose

Got a 97’ TJ with a Dana 44 front, noticed a tube hanging on the ground, one end is in the diff, not sure where the other end goes. Any guesses?

Sounds like the breather hose. The other end should have a plastic cap to keep dirt out. It attaches to the upper left side of the radiator.

Open your gear oil fill plug and drop a Viagra tablet in. The hose will spring from 0630 back to high noon where it belongs. +1 on what Daryl said.

What makes you think it’s a Dana 44 front the rubicon model is the only one I am aware that got a 44 front? Are you sure it’s not a 30?
