A bone stock 06 Rubicon with only 25k miles may be mine shortly (fingers crossed)

So what should I do to it?

I thinking: swap from my 00’ the Warn front and rear bumpers (after I powder coat them), all my Tuffy items, redo interior in leather including steering wheel, sun visors and few other items. Full CarPlay stereo upgrade. Redo all lighting. Swap my Wolfbox mirror. Install a low profile Warn winch, step bars, half doors…

…and finally give it a 4” lift with all extras to showcase 33’s on Moab’s. I do live in the mountains, I do get snow all winter, I do camp off road often but the lift would be as much cosmetic as functional. Here is where I would want the most input.

Throw out your ideas?

Not on the list but maybe should be: Supercharger, high line with scoop on custom hood, exhaust, roof top tent, full overland goodies, sheepskins, wool carpet, turn my 00’ into a camping/ overland trailer to be towed, wrap it in a Mountain Dew color...

BTW: It has a hard top, full doors and is automatic. Garage kept and looks new.

Why deck the interior out in leather only to negate your efforts by installing the awful looking Tuffy products.

What else do you do?

Highlines with 33s will look perfect with a Tuffy center console.

Why not enjoy it a bit before ruining it?

If that was me and I came across something that clean, I would put a 1.25" body lift on it, 31" tires, a nice sunshade, some upgraded headlights / taillights, and probably call it a day. Maybe a few other things like a Savvy cable shifter and a better stereo.

A clean one like that ought to be kept as close to stock as possible.

Chris,

What was your suspension package and tires on your black Rubicon. Also post a few pics if you don’t mind. It is my benchmark aesthetically for wheels, tires, and lift

Hopefully you can send all those parts back you had already ordered for it.

What is your mission for it? Since you want to do leather, it doesn’t sound like you want to do any off roading.

If he wants to put a face like that on his Jeep that’s fine, but PLEASE, if I ever do it, put a bullet in my head!
