Okay sweet, I’m doing the return now, I see a denso compressor, are these better than the uac that lasted 10 minutes lol I’ll return everything and create my own kit

Denso is OEM for a lot of automakers, I would trust that more than some brand I've never heard of.

Just saw this. It doesn't make sense to me, and I've not ever read this in any manual before. As far as I know, the only reason oil is needed in the system is for the compressor bearing lubrication. Why would you not want oil in the compressor at startup? What does the FSM say to do? I'd follow that next time.

It is indeed only for compressor lubrication but it becomes emulsified in the refrigerant and circulates throughout the system, so the total oil charge is far more than what should ever actually be present in the compressor at a given time. My thought is that they're having him pre-distribute it through the system so the compressor doesn't try to digest 6oz of oil all at once, but I do agree there should at least be SOME oil left there so it doesn't run dry before the other oil makes it back.

8 oz is factory spec.
2 in dryer, 2 in condenser and 4 in compressor is what it stated to do

When I read that, this is what I get:

"The compressor came with 6.1oz of oil in it. I drained it, and put that oil in the condenser and the dryer, leaving no oil in the compressor."

It would save a lot of time if you were more clear on what you've done.

I guess I forgot to add a few words. But yes fill from compressor manufacturer came with 6.1oz. Factory spec is 8oz total. Instructions stated put 2 in dryer, 2 in condenser and the remaining 4.1 in compressor
