Nope, haven’t even started the sound system so I’m golden.

Just got to transfer over my headlights, winch, half doors, and maybe a few other minor things.

The amount of money this will save me is ridiculous. I think it makes a lot of sense financially since we all knew I would end up here again.
I can't wait to see it in moab, assuming you don't have a ljr on coil overs by then :ROFLMAO:

The trick here is don’t owe the IRS money. Has that not been the case, I never would have sold the other one to @toximus.

I am happy this one is a manual though, I enjoy driving my manual a lot more than I did my auto.

@toximus needs a 40ft trailer so he can bring his fleet to Moab. Mrs. Tox can show us all how to wheel while he's doing 4wd burnouts with his v8.

I still need a 1500 pickup and a trailer so I can tow mine 🤣

The trick is showing how to wheel, doing 4 wheel burnouts, and then driving 1500 miles home with no fuss or muss. ;) I won't lie, there have been times I've wanted an enclosed 40 footer to have options, maybe a UTV or dedicated buggy, but I always come back to the decision that it's more fun to drive home fast and light in something built for fun and stop at a few more cool places along the way than drive a stock truck and complain the way home about tight intersections and small parking lots. I've hauled enough in my life to know that I'm better than most, but I really don't enjoy it for fun after the first 12 hours. @Mrs Tox prefers to ride along with me, so we can really only use 1 at a time anyway.

I did the drive it, wheel it, drive home twice. I chose to level up to the trailer route as I want to do more trips and wanted the added safety net for the un expected which definitely popped up on the last trip.

Yes, that's my ultimate goal is a trailer and a truck to tow it with. Not because I can't drive it, but because in the end it would be nice to have that safety net of "just incase". Not to mention that I've done some long drives in a TJ before, and it can be pretty taxing as I'm sure you're aware.

Agreed a TJ long distance is very tiring, not impossible but you’ll feel it.

Yep, I did a 5 hour trip in my black TJ with the 33s and the Currie 4" lift and when I finally got there I was feeling it.

The short wheelbase, constant fighting the wheel on the highway (due to the wind going under it and not over it), and piss poor aerodynamics make it taxing to drive at high speeds.

They are fun on the drive to your destination... it sucks knowing you have to drive it home though!!!

I'm awaiting your review on a psc hydro assist / box once you finally install one. It's a night and day difference.

Yeah, can't wait.

I spoke to Blaine and he's going to get me in at the end of October for an outboard and hydro assist. Once that's done, that should take care of all the big stuff. After that it's just little things.

I'll probably paint the fenders body color as I like that look. Still debating on that, but I think I'd like them more if they were body matched.

I'd go for body matched but that's me. Are you going with a rear AR or stock TB?
