ABS Control Unit (Pump) Rubber Grommets

Has anyone had success sourcing replacement grommets and the metal sleeve inserts for the ABS pump-to-tray mounts?


They seem like fairly standard isolation grommets at first glance, but I haven’t been able to find a close match on McMaster, Grainger, Amazon, or eBay.


For reference, the bracket is about 1/8" thick with a main mounting hole around 7/8". It seems like a typical rubber grommet designed for 1/8" sheet metal and a 7/8" hole should work, but the issue is the metal sleeve—its purpose is to keep the bolt threads from cutting into and wearing out the rubber over time.


I could live without the integrated washer-style flange on the sleeve if needed and just use a separate washer instead.


Has anyone found a suitable off-the-shelf equivalent or a good workaround for this setup?

I bet those are a specialty part from the pump manufacturer and not something sold by Mopar as a standalone. you could probably get away with using some well nuts.

In my searching for replacement Rubicon locker pump grommets I found this site. I ultimately used some OEM ones I had on hand from a spare pump I have. It may have something you are looking for.

As for the sleeve I have no idea, on the Rubi lockers it is essentially a washer that ensures the bolt has a firm surface to pull against as the bolt threads into the plastic on the pump. I am not familiar with the ABS pump but I would imagine it is similar, with the bolt instead threading into the ABS tray, squishing the isolator.

The minorrubber company is more geared towards selling direct to industry versus residential use. I think this product at mcmastercarr will work: https://www.mcmaster.com/9600K93/. It matches all the dimensions with the exception of the center; its a bit undersized.

Recommendation is to put the rubber grommet in the freezer for an hour or so to make it harder prior to drilling out the center as needed.
