Looking t these flip up single DIN stereos with gps and Bluetooth. Has anyone installed one. Wondering if the flip up screen will clear the middle vents.

I'd be willing to bet that'll block the vents, at least partially.

I'd guess that flip-up display would be pretty shaky if using it for a GPS on a bumpy road or an offroad trail.
I would second Crutchfield, they have great prices, great customer service, and when you go to add your stereo to the cart it recommends everything you would need to install the stereo into your vehicle, generally for either free or at a discounted price. Things like mounts, wiring adapters, etc. As mentioned prior they also have that dash replacement as well if you want to go the double din route (same price as Amazon).
They also have articles on various Jeeps including every relevant TJ model like 97 to 02, 03 to 06 and the LJ specifically.
