Just had a buddy recommend this place for alternators, but i have no experience with them. Looks like a newly built alternator for the same cost or less than an Autozone reman: https://www.dbelectrical.com/produc...eep-tj-series-wrangler-01-02-03-04-05-06.html
I'd go with that over the Autozone junk. DB has been around for a long time.

Let me know what you think of the DB alternator when you get it, and how you dealings with them go. Getting ready to pull the trigger on one of their alternators as well, just trying to decide between stock or the Durango upgrade route.
I just got a DB Electric Alternator from Amazon, ordered it Friday....it came late in the day Saturday while I was waiting to watch Mike Tyson (which was fun, guy is still entertaining). $91 for a new build, we'll see if it lasts, but that's pretty good.
I put it on...and runs quiet (huge difference) my OEM charges fine but was super squeaky. I'm actually keeping it for a "just in case" something happens and I can throw it on in a pinch.

Mean Green its pricy but has lasted 14 years on my 05 TJ with 500 watt rockfordfosgate amp and 2 10 inch subs.
