Alright so I have a 97 tj 4.0, lost my upper alternator bracket and bought one for a 2004, already cut/modified the bracket to bolt to my 97 4.0, now my 97 alternator won't fit, will a 04 alternator work or will a Durango alternator work I know the hook ups on the 97 are different but if I need to cut the end and wire up a different plug for the Durango or for a 04 4.0 plug I will. I'll take pics tomorrow and post them if I need to. Any help is very appreciated
