I'm located in South Florida, it gets pretty hot out. My problem with overheating is when I'm trail riding or in stop and go traffic with my ac it starts to climb and overheat. As soon as i get moving/or raise the RPM's to 2k it cools off.
Things I've done to resolve the problem:
-New thermostat and housing
-Flushed system
-burped system (used the burping funnel on a incline)
-new radiator (ebay special) it overheated like this with the perfectly good stock radiator too
-Tried the Ford explore fan trick went back to stock.
-new high flow water pump
-fan shroud is in place
-HD fan clutch
The AC condenser doesn't appear to be clogged (airflow) that's kind of the only thing I can think of other than maybe not flushing the system out good enough. Any thoughts or opinions welcome, I just want to go trail riding without being in first gear the whole time 3k rpms to keep the temps down, lord forbit I stop and idle for 5 minutes.
I may add a pusher fan when trail riding.
