Any concern with this frame/engine bay?

Many..are you ok with a repaired frame would be my first question then we can go from there
Does not look like a well cared for TJ. How badly rusted is the sheet metal? Not a lot of miles left for a daily driver but good enough for occasional trail use. IMO it’s over priced.
Personally, something that has a repaired frame and 170000 on the clock isn’t getting $9000 from me. Id get a boroscope and make sure the rot was cut out before welding if you’re remotely interested. Some people just slap caps on the frame and weld them in. I’ve seen some that have actually been bolted. Especially because it seems like a recent repair, there’s much to have concern about.
Also, even where TJ’s rust out, there are many rust free sub 120k mile Jeeps out there for less than 9k. I strongly suggest passing.

I wouldn't buy a jeep with anything more than light surface rust in a couple spots on the outside. Yes I am spoiled. I hate rust
Afraid so. I wouldn't consider that at half the asking price. Keep looking.
