I purchased the ARB CKMA12 and am looking for recommendations on where to place it. The ABS tray is unavailable due to the stock Rubicon pumps living in that location. Photos would be very helpful. Thank you.

I mounted mine on the driver side wheel well behind the washer fluid tank.

That is the spot I'm considering right now. I get the pump in today so I am going to play around with it a bit.
LOL after looking at my post I typed passenger where I should have typed driver LOL. I edited my post to fix my mistake.
I have seen some TJs have some electrical module in that same location but mine is a 2006 and there was nothing occupying that spot.
LOL I didn't even notice. My brain must have read it correctly after reading the photo.
how did you mount this in that spot? I just picked up the same compressor and will be placing it in the same spot. did you have a specific plate or mounting bracket?
I made an extremely simple mount by buying a piece of metal at home depot with roughly the same width as the arbs base. Then cut it to length to fit the base. I then drilled all the mounting holes in the base (home depot metal) and finally attached the arb to the fender using 3 of the base mounts. (4th one is base only since it did contact the fender.)
I had to trim a bit off the fan shroud but nothing major. (this was necessary so I could take the filter cover off). The last thing I had to do was extend the wires that enter the cab for the switch.
I'll take some photos after work. It was a fairly easy task that could be done with fairly basic tools. While you're installing it I highly suggest routing an external air hookup. It's nice not needing to open the hood when filling up.

actually, after further review, this spot below the master cylinder worked out perfect. I didn't take a before pic but there's a removable plate with (4) 1/2' bolts that you can remove and then directly attach the ARB to it. So for anyone else with a 98, the ARB fits perfectly here. You just have to loosen the adjustment screws and flip it around a little and it slides in.
Yes, that is a much easier location. The only reason why I didn't mount mine there is because I used that location for the OEM rubicon locker pumps.
