Of course lol. It was just not very fun cutting off all the brackets on the axle with a cutoff disc. Plasma should make quick work. I’m interested in possibly doing what you did with the front stretch as well.
Plasma made a miserable job less miserable. I don't think I could have saved the TB mount and springs seats without it.
Was it basically just moving the trackbar mounts and spring seats forward and bending the steering to fit? How far did you move them up?
Basically. The actual wheelbase stretch might have been 3/4" from where it was just before. The TB mount moves forward on an arch, so it goes where it needs to go. Then the spring seats go where they line up with the axle pad, while maintaining the desired ride height. The limit to the stretch is when the steering links start to overlap each other. After that, you are moving the steering box.
Quick update on the plasma cutter. It’s fucking awesome.

Got some seat time today with my dad on Upper Ajax Trail. I tried to video some stuff on my tripod but my phone kept overheating in the middle of the video. It was a hot one! It was nice to test out the new upgrades on home trails. I did a climb today I’ve never been comfortable doing before. Walked up really smooth where I feel I would have hopped before. Also cool to see the tire actually getting pretty high up into the highline fender for having stock mounts! I’m very happy with my no flare decision as multiple times today there was a rock wall on the side of me right where the flare would have been. My dads front fender got crushed pretty bad.

I’m on the 10.75” ranchos up front and the 9.5” ranchos in the rear
When attempting to put in my new to me 04 seats I realized they did not have the seatbelts on them and the old style seatbelts won’t fit them either. Finally picked some used seatbelts up off Craigslist and also got my Buchanan 1.5” seat risers in the mail today so it’s finally time to install!
I know these are just seat risers but they are top notch quality. Similar to the difference between a savvy body lift and other brands. Comes with nice new hardware as well. Hopefully my short ass can see over the hood with these!

Got the new seats put in!
They are definitely more comfortable than the old style to me. Stiffer, better ergonomics, and sit deeper. The seat risers also feel great. Makes it so I can sit closer to the wheel without crunching my leg space. My wife saw @ChevyKeith s LJ with Bartact seat covers in Moab and she really liked them and convinced me to order some. I think some interior mods are coming up next now that I’m happy with how the Jeep is performing.
I also had to put the Jeep in summer mode with top on and full doors. It hit 100 yesterday and I felt like I was driving in a blow dryer lol.

I really love your build. It rings most every bell with regards to what I'd like to do with my LJ.
