Maybe i get hate for this but has anyone made a fuel cell into an aux tank. i want to not have to spend every week at a gas station and want more range for long trips i would want to take a fuel cell mounted in the jeep and run a pump to the original tank. Has this been done?

Yes i know jerry cans and ropax are cheaper. Just kinda want something that doesnt require me to get out of the jeep... and i dont want to put a shit ton into a genright yet for 5 gals.

Thanks

More than likely the fuel cell will end up in the cargo area which will decrease what you can bring with you on a trip.
A Jerry can or Ropax mounted outside the Jeep would be a better choice and could be used with a siphon hose to add fuel within a few minutes.

It's not going to be easy unless you don't mind an evap code thrown all the time, not to mention you'd have to tie vent lines and fill lines and have a positive shutoff unless the transfer was happening. Overall a massive project with pretty large hurdles all around.

Thank you for the response man. This is what i was looking for. Makes sense i figured it would be a challenge.
