Auxilliary light on rear bumper

I would like to mount additional back up lights on the stock rear bumper. I can't get to the backside of the bumper to put the nuts on. Draw bar for the hitch is blocking it. I was thinking of maybe drilling an inch or so hole in the bottom to insert a socket with a nut on it? Is there a better way? Thanks ST

If you're talking a small, lightweight light you could use self-tapping screws and some red Loctite.

I didn't use self-tapping, I tapped the hole.

What is stopping you from taking the bumper off?

Thanks everyone. Yeah, these are some bigger LEDs I took off the front bumper. Guess they'd do better on the cowl and find some smaller ones for back up lights.
