Barnett Diff Covers

I looked last night after I saw this post bump back up and it said 1 in stock for a Dana 30. I went ahead and ordered a Dana 30 & Dana 44. But it still said 1 in stock even after I ordered. Not really worried about it though, not in a huge rush to get them.

When I talked to them they were looking for HP30 covers, like this one.

Kind of looks that.. with some extra digits…

Here is a possible proposal for all the Dana 30 guys. T&J's Performance Center may be willing to buy back the unused Dana 30 covers as Dana stopped making the needed covers years ago. If they are in good condition and have a specific stamp of "40869" and not the "40869-1", you can contact the shop and they might be willing to take them. 714-633-0991.

Darn. I have the -1 cover.

There was two in stock when I ordered.

I got mine in today. There’s something rattling inside the cover. Maybe a small peice of metal or something. Comes with a brand new ultra grey RTV.

I have 3, they all have that little artifact (but it isn't noticable unless the cover is off).

What is the thickness of the added-on armor on the Barnett? Is it 1/4" or 3/16"? Thanks.

Dana 30 covers are getting harder and harder to produce. The only way to get the cores are from salvage yards for a specific high pinion stamping, then to verify they are in good condition for production.

The Dana 44 covers are still accessible though... so if you want any covers for your Dana 44 get them on the website!

I’m glad I purchased the Dana 30 when it was in stock. I’ll purchase the rear Dana 44 soon!

I can pull a bunch when I'm at the pick and pull next time. Do you want covers from outside peeps?
