Bent steering knuckle

Hi Guys,

Bent my passenger side steering knuckle on a recent wheeling trip along with my control arm bracket. Looking to replacements am i better off with a new one or a junkyard pull? My reasons aren't so much pricing but the thought that OEM Mopar knuckles would be stronger, better made than newer replacements. Am I overthinking this? Thanks

Get one out of the JY. I don't think they even make new knuckles. Pull a knuckle off a shitbox cherokee.

haha, I'm serious. The older Cherokees use the same knuckles.

Wait, what? Did someone say they need YJ knuckles? I think I have the last set if that’s the case.
Otherwise I’ll have some TJ knuckles available in the future but I am a solid 5 hours from the OP.

I think you will struggle with finding knuckles with ball joints installed as the ball joints should be installed in the axle C before installing the knuckle. Knuckles are all over, finding a Mopar knuckle is the hard part.

Type Jeep TJ steering knuckle into the old Googler and you got yourself some results.

Go to the junkyard and pull a knuckle off a Cherokee.
