You need to compare used rubi cases to a new atlas and decide if this is a buy once/cry once situation.

It would be nice for someone to make a rear yoke with a speed sensor tone ring and sensor mount bracket so that the JK cases would work. There’s plenty of those available for reasonable $$
Can’t you do that for less if you buy the basic 2-speed atlas?
Isn’t the 4 speed atlas cheaper than those combined?

My thinking is that the D300 case and Doubler will be smaller than my NP231.
$3400 for me. Not sure what spline count I has so I guessed.
An Atlas requires a floor cut, right? Or some creativity.
D300 is the same size ish as the 231/41.
Not just the cost...size, packaging and as folks have mentioned gears, doublers...weight maybe... availability?
Still want someone to start recasting the D300 case and get us a sub$2k box.
